Activation Lock

Lock, introduced with iOS 7, is a theft deterrent that works by leveraging Find My iPhone. When Find My iPhone is enabled, it enables the Activation Lock, and your Apple ID and password will be required to turn off Find My iPhone, to erase your device, and to reactivate your device.
