VMware cloud on AWS 

The VMware partnership with AWS gave rise to this service. Simply put, we can now run a ESXi, VSAN, and even NSX on bare-metal in the AWS cloud, which allows us to run a VMware private cloud and also a VMware public cloud (in AWS). This could be put to use in various use cases. The details of the service can be found at https://aws.amazon.com/vmware/

As an example, you can have a vRealize suite on-premises and add AWS (with the VMware) to make the public cloud look like an additional data center, while being able to use the same orchestration. This service along with vRealize suite, will somewhat rival the AzureStack, albeit in an infra-up mode and not in service down mode.
