2.4　Material Management of Track Slab Yard

Material management falls into two parts，raw material supply（site entry，acceptance and storage）and（semi-manufactured）finished products supply（inspection and storage）.

2.4.1　Raw material inspection and acceptance

The raw materials like cement，additive，coarse and fine aggregate，admixture，steel products，layer of epoxy，finish rolled deformed bar，insulation heat shrink tubing and grounding terminal shall be inspected and accepted according to the technical requirement of related specification and acceptance standard as well asTemporary Technical Conditions for CRTS Ⅱ Slab Ballastless Track Concrete Track Slab（with Bumping Shoulder）of Passenger Dedicated Railway（Kejiji [2008]No.173）.

2.4.2　Raw material of track slab management

The material department shall calculate the monthly material consumption according to construction schedule；the material shall be provided by suppliers and dynamically managed.The material warehouse shall be established for adequate material supply.

The material department shall conduct market survey，and grasp market dynamics and purchasing channels，in order to provide better logistical support for successful construction.

The material department shall inspect the raw material timely as per requirement，and obtain the first hand report about material inspection，unqualified materials shall not get inside the warehouse.

Certain stock of raw material shall be available in the yard to prevent sudden incidents from affecting the production.Meanwhile，when special symptoms are to emerge（road closed，weather change，etc.），material shall be stored ahead of schedule.

2.4.3　Management of（semi-manufactured）finished track slab

The storekeeper shall master the basic skill for products entering warehouse and products delivering.The products management is more demanding compared with raw material management.The product quantity and specification shall be delivered in accordance with corresponding procedures，to avoid product being damaged or loss due to improper management.

CRTS Ⅱtrack slab shall be marked by data in semi-manufactured slab area，and stored as per manufacturing data；because the position of the finished track slab with serial numbers is unique in track，the management account and partition signboard shall be established for finished track slab storage yard.The transfer and transport factors shall be taken into account in product storage，the transportation times for track slabs shall be possibly reduced.Under normal circumstances，the track slabs shall be transported twice in semi-manufactured slab area，and shall be transported once in finished track slab area.
