Art Masterpieces

A masterpiece is the work of an artist that has been absorbed by the spirit of his/her times, and can transform personal experience into universal experience. Masterpieces make us forget the artist, and direct our attention towards the artist's work instead. We may wonder about the execution of a particular work of art, but for the time being we are transposed, so deeply, and brought into the creation that our consciousness is actually expanded.

You know when you have encountered a masterpiece because it will stay with you for the rest of your life.
